I was just watching that promo video on Apple’s site — the one tied to the Lumon Terminal Pro page.
There's a scene where a film editor is working on what looks like a Mac mini, and at first, it really seems like they’re using it to do full-on video editing (1m47s). But later in the video, you can clearly see they’re actually remoting into another machine. You can even spot the remote desktop UI (8m05s).
Now I’m wondering — was this a slip-up? Did Apple accidentally show what’s really going on?
Or was it intentional… and if so, why hide the remote session in the earlier shots?
Either way, it feels a bit misleading. Like, the whole thing subtly suggests the Mac mini is powerful enough for pro video editing, but in reality, it’s just a thin client here.
Anyone else catch this?
Link: https://www.apple.com/mac/lumon-terminal-pro/
