I've noticed that duplicate links are sometimes permitted to be submitted and posted within a short window, e.g.:<p>https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43507811<p>I thought duplicate URLs were rejected and the existing link simply upvoted? It appears to not be the case. How is this possible?
