Plato wanted philosopher kings (still not a bad idea if you replace kings with politician imo) but surely our world leaders should at least be able to read deeply?<p>I say this very pointedly of course. In a 2016 Washington Post interview when asked if Trump had read any presidential biographies, he said “I never have. I’m always busy doing a lot.” (261 rounds of golf in his first term)
