Yo, these past few weeks, I’ve been using my “software dev skills” I learned at uni to build a few of my ideas, as I have plenty of time since I am no longer at uni.
A while back, I had a simple idea for a chatbot {running on a gpt llm} that would be easily accessible on instant-messaging apps especially since I’m from Africa, and only 0.68% of Africans use AI tools. I’m not trying to build the next ChatGPT; I just want to make AI as accessible as possible to my brethren.
First, I built a bot it broke. Then I built one on my local PC it broke. Next, I used node to host a Telegram bot it broke, too. Finally, I built an instance of a bot on Telegram and shared it with my family. They like it, but I’d really appreciate more feedback before I build more accessible bots or decide to pivot.
If you want to critique my idea or break my bot, please tell me why I might be wasting my time or just try it out and give me constructive feedback. Visit inkubit.tech, scroll down to try the bot, and fill out the survey I left.
