I'm a software developer who published a technical book with Wrox years ago. The process was brutal—months of work, endless rewrites, lost plot threads.<p>Recently I've been experimenting with using AI as a writing partner (not just for drafts, but for maintaining consistency across chapters, tracking characters, generating outlines, etc.)<p>Has anyone else tried this seriously?
